Briefing
Create a short, cinematic wildlife documentary about a fictional rainforest animal called the "Emerald Shadowcat".
STYLE:
Ultra-realistic high-end wildlife documentary, filmed like a premium BBC Earth or National Geographic production. Photorealistic animal anatomy, realistic fur, natural movement, authentic rainforest vegetation, cinematic composition, physically accurate lighting, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain, natural colors, detailed macro photography and dramatic but believable wildlife cinematography.
THE ANIMAL:
The Emerald Shadowcat is an extremely rare small predator living deep inside a tropical rainforest.
It is approximately 65 centimeters long, with the body shape and elegant movements of a small wild cat.
Its short, dense fur is dark charcoal-black but contains thousands of extremely fine emerald-green iridescent fibers. In normal shadow the animal appears almost black, but when sunlight hits its body, subtle green patterns shimmer across its fur.
Its large amber eyes have narrow vertical pupils and exceptional night vision.
The ears are slightly larger than those of a normal wild cat and can rotate independently to locate insects and small animals.
Its long tail has three subtle glowing turquoise rings near the tip. The glow is biological and very faint, only clearly visible in darkness.
The front paws have unusually long flexible toes that allow the animal to climb wet trees and grip moss-covered branches.
Keep the EXACT SAME animal appearance, proportions, fur pattern, eye color and tail markings throughout every shot.
ENVIRONMENT:
Ancient tropical rainforest shortly after sunrise.
Huge trees, dense vegetation, giant leaves covered with water droplets, moss, vines, mist between the trees and occasional shafts of warm sunlight penetrating the canopy.
Everything should feel humid, alive and completely natural.
SEQUENCE:
SHOT 1 — INTRODUCTION
Wide aerial establishing shot slowly moving above an enormous rainforest canopy just after sunrise.
Morning mist floats between the trees.
The camera slowly descends through the canopy toward the dark forest floor.
Small birds fly between distant trees.
Cinematic, peaceful and mysterious.
SHOT 2 — FIRST DISCOVERY
Low camera position between wet leaves.
The camera slowly pushes forward through dense vegetation.
For several seconds the animal is almost invisible.
Then two amber eyes become visible inside the shadows.
The Emerald Shadowcat slowly steps forward.
A narrow beam of sunlight touches its body and reveals the subtle emerald shimmer in its black fur.
The animal looks directly toward the camera for a moment.
SHOT 3 — MACRO DETAIL
Extreme cinematic macro shots.
Close-up of the animal's amber eye reflecting the rainforest.
Cut to water droplets sitting on the dark fur.
As the animal moves, the microscopic emerald fibers change color depending on the angle of the light.
Close-up of one paw gripping wet tree bark.
Extremely detailed fur, skin, claws and moisture.
SHOT 4 — HUNTING
The Emerald Shadowcat notices a large colorful rainforest insect sitting on a branch.
Its ears rotate toward the sound.
The animal lowers its body and slowly moves across a moss-covered branch.
Camera follows from the side with a smooth telephoto wildlife shot.
Suddenly the insect flies away.
The Shadowcat rapidly jumps to another branch.
Brief slow-motion shot showing the animal stretching through the air.
Realistic weight, muscles and landing physics.
SHOT 5 — RAIN
A tropical rainstorm suddenly begins.
Large raindrops hit leaves and vegetation.
The Emerald Shadowcat moves quickly across wet branches.
Camera tracks alongside the animal.
It jumps onto a large leaf, then onto a fallen tree.
Water splashes realistically from its paws.
Its wet fur becomes darker and the emerald reflections become more visible.
SHOT 6 — RIVER
